Shagun has over 25 years’ experience of assisting ambitious stakeholders and management, faced with rapid growth challenges, operational underperformance or financial stress. Shagun brings significant experience and leadership to organisations, when it really matters, to help restore and build value. He has acted both as an advisor and also in executive roles, focused primarily on implementation of plans for sustainable business expansion, performance turnaround, working capital improvement, financial restructuring and M&A related initiatives. Shagun’s extensive track record has covered a variety of sectors (construction, telecoms, transport and financial services being the dominant ones) across numerous jurisdictions (US, UK/Europe, Middle East and the Far East).
Before going independent, Shagun was with AlixPartners’ London/Middle East offices for 7 years, BDO International for 3 years and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance in London for 14 years specialising in turnarounds, re-organisations, accelerated M&As and litigation support. He has current invested in and acting as a part time advisor to a SME FM business looking to expand.
